Our greatest desire in Children’s Ministry is to partner with parents in the discipleship of their kids. We take the spiritual education of our kiddos seriously by providing classes every weekend for our kids.. We use a well-grounded Bible based curriculum, as well as do our best to help the kids learn to know, love and serve Jesus by teaching them that God desires a relationship with each one of us; that by knowing God, we can’t help but want to have a meaningful and fulfilling relationship with him, when we know him and love him the natural outflow of this knowing is a desire to serve him with all our hearts!

What to Expect

Nursery:

Birth - 2 1/2 year old

Whether your baby needs to be lovingly held or your toddler needs to wiggle, crawl, walk or play, our Nursery helpers are eager to serve in our engaging Nursery environment. With age-appropriate toys, music and books your child will be cared for while you participate in our worship service. A simple snack is provided. You can indicate that your child has dietary restrictions and bring a custom snack for them. Pick up and drop off in classroom. We can communicate with the Sanctuary if needed, to alert you that your child needs assistance.

Preschool:

2 1/2 year old - 5 years old

A typical morning in the HRAC Preschool includes games, crafts and engaging activities that reinforce the basic point of the Bible Lesson. Fun with caring Children Ministry Leaders. A simple snack is provided. You can indicate that your child has dietary restrictions and bring a custom snack for them. Pick up and drop off in classroom.

Elementary School:

Kindergarten - 5th Grade

A typical morning in the HRAC Elementary Sunday School starts-up in the Sanctuary in a large group environment where they engage in live Worship. After that, we go back to our grade level classrooms to participate in games, Bible Story, fun activities and a simple snack is provided. You can indicate that your child has dietary restrictions and bring a custom snack for them. Pick up after service in classroom.

Security:

At dismissal: Elementary kids, teachers/leaders and security team meet in the foyer and accompany the children to their classrooms. If you are new or visiting, please accompany your child to their classroom for sign-in.

Leaders:

All of our HRAC Children Ministry Leaders are background-checked, have been trained and committed to becoming authentic, credible followers of Jesus. Many have years of experience serving in children’s ministry or teaching.
